Southside Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Centre have aligned ourselves with the latest scientific rehabilitation research from around the world to develop a cutting edge exercise program that will maximise core strength and your ability to stay pain-free and enjoy life to the full.
The program commences with two one-on-one physiotherapy sessions to deal with your individual needs. The sessions cover:
- Biomechanical and Postural Assessment
- Instructing correct activation of core muscles
- Individually prescribed strengthening and mobility exercises incorporating specific equipment
You will then progress into a small group, with a specific exercise program instructed by a physiotherapist. These sessions address core stability and spinal muscle control, progressing into exercises that cross over into everyday life. The program involves weekly one hour sessions over an eight week period, with a specific home exercise program to be completed on two separate days each week.
Once you have completed the Level 1 Dynamic Spines session, you have the option to participate in our Level 2 session. This session is based on the same principles as Level 1, however, the exercises are more advanced, allowing you to consolidate and improve on what you have learned in the Level 1 session.
