Alicia Normand

Physiotherapist

Alicia graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Physiotherapy in 2017. Throughout her degree, she gained experience in all areas of physiotherapy, including musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory, neurological and paediatric physiotherapy.

Following the completion of her studies, Alicia joined the Southside Physiotherapy team in 2018.

Alicia has a keen interest in applying Pilates principles to the treatment of injuries and low back pain. She has multiple Pilates-based accreditations and has trained in the use of Real Time Ultrasound to optimise her treatment and complement traditional techniques of musculoskeletal injury management.

Alicia also has a passion for working with people diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. She is a trained and accredited PD Warrior instructor who works individually or in classes to assist her patients in improving their quality of life through exercise.

Alicia is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA).
