Sophie Magrath

Exercise Physiologist

Sophie graduated from the University of NSW in 2021 with a bachelor degree in Exercise Physiology. Sophie is passionate about helping people of all ages and abilities to improve their overall quality of life and strive to be the best version of themselves with movement. She works to promote longevity for all by educating, prescribing exercise programs and lifestyle interventions to children and adults with various medical presentations. Stemming from her dancing background, Sophie is particularly enthusiastic about the influence Clinical Pilates has for chronic disease management and attains a full Studio Pilates qualification. She is also interested in women’s health, neurological conditions and mental health.

Sophie is a member of ESSA (Exercise and Sports Science Australia). She has had experience working with people with disabilities in private practice, at Sutherland hospital and in commercial gym.

Sophie grew up playing netball, oztag, swimming, dancing, acrobatics and has completed five sprint triathlons. In her spare time, you’ll find Sophie paddle boarding, doing Pilates, walking her dog and running long distances.
