Move from Pain to Performance

Sport is Australia’s favourite pastime, and the Sutherland Shire has some of the highest sport participation rates in the country. Unfortunately, sports injuries inevitably happen; about a quarter of outdoor team sport participants will sustain an injury in any one season.

Southside Physiotherapy’s physiotherapists are highly trained in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of sporting injuries. Francis Crossle is a titled APA Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist, having undergone a rigorous training process of academic and on-field experience.

We take a holistic approach to sports injury rehabilitation, and our philosophy is to not just eliminate your pain, but to rehabilitate your injury to a high standard so that you can safely return to your sport of choice, prevent reoccurrence, and perform at a high level.

We have an onsite gymnasium that is well equipped to develop a specific rehabilitation program for you, and we use a variety of biomechanical and sports-specific tests to assess your progress along the way. We have developed a specific return to running program, and a dynamic stretching program for warm ups.

Southside Physiotherapy currently work with Cronulla-Caringbah Junior Rugby League Club, and Cronulla High School Rugby League Excellence Program. In the past, we have worked with Cronulla Sharks Rugby League, St George Dragons Rugby League, Sydney Kings Basketball, Sutherland Shire and NSW Netball, and NSW Touch Football.

Whether you have a niggle that’s holding you back, just want to improve your fitness, or have had a serious injury or surgery and need a path for recovery, Southside Physiotherapy will get you back to your best! For more information, or to book an appointment, call 9527 4099.
