William Brassington

Physiotherapist

William approaches injury treatment with a keen focus on the underlying cause. He believes that pain reduction is just the first step and works with patients to understand and address the underlying cause or causes with the intent of providing sustainable injury management. Vancouver-born, William, with a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, relocated to Sydney in 2019 to complete his Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University.

William’s passion for physiotherapy stems from his enthusiasm for all things sports. You name it, William’s played it; college-level american football, baseball, basketball and AFL. In fact his enjoyment of playing AFL in Vancouver was just one of the reasons he chose to settle in Australia. His extensive sporting experience, at high-level competition grade, has given William a solid perspective on the challenges athletes face.

William has a special interest in musculoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease treatments, chronic pain, and men’s health. He prides himself on working with his patients to help them reach their goals.
